I’m Yichen (逸宸), a postdoctoral research fellow in the France 2030 PEPR eNSEMBLE program. I work at the intersection of musical creativity and computer science, hosted by the MINT team at the Université de Lille. My research encompasses new interfaces for musical expression, augmented reality, and the entangled nature of digital music ensembles in Human-Computer Interaction. I completed my PhD in computer science at the SMCClab, The Australian National University.

My research works include the intelligent instrument 溯, the mixed reality musical instrument cube, and the networked augmented reality collaborative expression system arMIDI, with creative practices along the way.
